These are deanery magazines created by four deaneries within the Hereford Diocese to give parishioners of the deaneries news of events and work taking place in the relevant areas. These include those magazines produced by the Archenfield, Leominster, Weston and Ledbury Deaneries. The Archenfield, Leominster and Weston magazines also feature another publication in the centre which provides informative and educational reading of both a spiritual and secular nature. These magazines were all produced on a monthly basis. Usually all those from a particular year have been bound together and it is these bound volumes which are in the archive. Occasionally, magazines from several years have been bound together and this will be indicated in the date field. In 1954, volumes start to be produced of magazines from several deaneries for a particular year. These include magazines from the Leominster, Weston and Ledbury Deaneries.
The Deanery Magazines have been split into five series. There is a series of The Archenfield Magazine, of the Leominster Deanery Magazine, of the Eardisland Parish Magazine; of which one copy was found in the whole collection and which does not seem to relate to any of the other series, of The Weston Deanery Magazine and finally of the aforementioned amalgamated magazines.
