(1) Robert Jenkins of the Abbey Foregate, Shrewsbury, esq.
(2) Jane Pearson of The Stone Bridge near Shrewsbury, widow and Edward Pearce of Shrewsbury, joiner.
Recites a mortgage made in 1749 between John James of Shrewsbury and Letitia Jones of Ludlow, spinster, wherein John James took out a mortgage on the house called Trippleton in the parish of Leintwardine from Letitia Jones for the sum of £400.
Recites a further indenture of 1754 where the mortgage was transferred from Letitia Jones to John Roberts of St Mary Whitechapel, Middlesex, gent. More of the lands attached to the Trippleton estate were added to the mortgage for a further sum of £1,200.
A further indenture of 1756 transferred the mortgage from John Roberts to Robert Jenkins of Shrewsbury, and a further sum of £900 was advanced to John James.
This indenture is to confirm that £400 of that money belongs to (2).
