Property: Several pieces of land that had been subject to the mortgage taken by James Davies from John James.
Following the death of William Alexander James, the trusteeship of the mortgaged properties passed to his son, who is only 5 years old at this date. Under a newly passed law of William IV entitled An Act for amending the Laws respecting Conveyances and Transfers of Estates and Funds vested in Trustees, etc, James Davies petitioned to have the title to the properties vested in himself.
