One folder containing the following documents: File of correspondence, the majority of the letters are between the Council’s Education Committee and the school and include topics such as the appointment and absence of teachers, the uses of the school as a polling station for the 1955 General Election, and a letter dated 3rd September 1948 from the Director of Education relating to a named girl who was committed to the care of Glamorgan Education Authority under the Children and Young Persons’ Act. Letter from the Director of Education to the Clerk of the Council concerning a proposal for the acquisition of a site for the Tupsley Special Agreement School.
