This collection mainly comprises research material used by the late
Ivor Pfuell, author and publisher in the writing of A History of Shobdon (1994). It also contains several printouts of the text, photographs, maps, manuscript notes and correspondence. Earlier (1980s) Notes and articles on the Batemans and Shobdon Church are included, as are articles/pamphlets concerning Shobdon Arches acquired after the book’s publication. There is also material relating to Mr. Pfuell’s employment, housing and his other interests, including maps of the City of London, 17th -19th century prints of famous people and downloaded internet material concerning Oliver Cromwell/the Interregnum. Copyright remains with the Pfuell family.
