These documents were all in an envelope labelled bank books and bond and documents regarding treasurer’s accounts. They are all records kept by the treasurer, but there is no definite single series. There are two bank account books from the Capital and Counties Bank, of which the first parish council treasurer was a branch manager. One is for the general parish council account and one specifically for the overseers’ receipts and payments. There are additionally a further general receipt and payments book and two other envelopes, one containing financial statements and one containing various other documents associated with the role of treasurer.
