Photographic glass plates Glass plate negatives taken from a book entitled ‘Memoriae Honoratissimi Domini Francisci, Baronis De Vervlamio’, published in 1626. Packs of glass plate negatives displaying various engravings. Glass plate negatives of the frontispieces for the following volumes entitled ‘A Discovery of the Fraternity of the Most Laudable Order of the Rosy Cross’, and ‘The Fame and Confession of the Fraternity of Rosie Cross’ by Eugenius Philalethes, published 1652. Glass plate negatives of illustrations and text [possibly] from ‘Peacham’s Minerva Britanna’, and from ‘The Workes of William Shakespeare, containing all his Comedies, Histories, and Tragedies’ [sic]. Glass plate negatives relating to The Bacon Society, includes engravings of Sir Francis Bacon and possibly Edward VI, and various emblems used to illustrate volumes [possibly] relating to Francis Bacon and from a volume entitled ‘New Atlantis’.
